Executive Order 11246 (EO 11246) enables the OFCCP to promote our country’s core values of fair treatment and opportunity for all. The order requires that federal contractors do not take race, sex, or other demographic characteristics into account when making employment decisions – an initiative aligned with President Trump’s mandate of fighting for all Americans and ensuring fair employment opportunities so that every person can succeed based on his or her merit, hard work and ambitions.

By preserving EO 11246, President Trump can protect ALL Americans and restore our country’s meritocracy. President Trump has the historical opportunity to make work fair again.

The EO provides the OFCCP with expanded anti-discrimination compliance and enforcement authorities that other regulators, such as the EEOC, don’t have. The office, through the EO, has the unique ability to protect Americans not included in traditional DEI narratives and initiatives, such as white men, people of all faiths, veterans and disabled Americans. President Trump is a fighter for these groups, who have often been cast aside in recent years in favor of illegal quotas and set asides taken on by corporations. President Trump now has the ability to use the EO to protect true equality, ensuring all Americans have equal opportunities and treatment, fighting back against “woke” preferences imposed on and by companies.

“The EO provides the OFCCP with expanded anti-discrimination compliance and enforcement authorities that other regulators, such as the EEOC, don’t have.”

EO 11246 is a crucial component of ensuring the values core to the American dream are carried out by rewarding workers with the most talent, ambition and willingness to do hard work. By preserving this order and doubling down on its mandate to restore American values, President Trump can put meritocracy first.
